London based designer Bodo Sperlein is renowned within the field of luxury goods design, specialising in home accessories such as lighting, furniture, table / giftware and jewellery. In addition to developing his own collections, Sperlein also acts as a design consultant, undertaking projects for global clients as diverse as Swarovski, Dibbern, and Du Pont. Notable projects include the recent Re-Cyclos Magical collection for Lladró, and perfume bottles for Agent Provocateur.
Bodo’s design philosophy is one of challenging perceptions through contrast. Traditional materials and skills are revitalized through contemporary design; so called 'old fashioned' high quality materials like pewter, glass, wood and bone china meet innovative materials such as Corian. He loves to use high-quality materials to make luxury products that will have longevity through their contemporary classic appeal.
